“I am a graffiti writer and I personally believe that the nitty-gritty of a writer is be out there, to get up as much as you could. Graffiti started out in the streets and it belongs there. It’s beautiful and free for everyone to look at. I don’t think it’s even an issue. Some people labelled me a vandal, but besides being out there painting the streets, i’ve done my share of commissioned jobs, events and even taught students graffiti art in school. You get the best of both worlds.” – MIMER

Ground-breaking effort by Singapore’s finest for Singapore’s finest… This photo-shoot, choreographed by Yasin a.k.a. Mr 36, is to commemorate all of Singapore’s hip hop artistes. It is to create a cohesion between the old and the new, a get together for everyone in the scene, the b-boys and girls, emcees, deejays, graffiti writers and everyone who has contributed to the hip hop scene in Singapore. It is also to create awareness that the hip hop scene in Singapore is still rockin’, kept fresh and here to stay!!!

Props to Mr Yasin and the rest who were involved in this photoshoot to make it all happen..
